Our annual fundraiser, Southern Soirée, is happening Sunday, October 13, 2019 from 5 to 8 at The Barn at Shady Lane. Tickets for the sunset dinner are available now! The proceeds go directly to our grant and scholarship fund.
This past year, we awarded $25,000 in grants and scholarships to women all over our state who are pursuing food-related careers.
The menu, developed by Dames Pardis Stitt, Kay Reed, and Kathy Mezrano, is based on recipes from our organization’s namesake, August Escoffier. Each dish is being reinterpreted and prepared by one of our members. Dame Alexis Douglas, a certified sommelier, is choosing the wine pairings, and we’ll have a specialty cocktail featuring Cathead Vodka. There also will be a silent auction featuring exclusive, Dame-led experiences.
